Self Drive Terms & Conditions

  • Driver must hold a valid Indian driving licence (LMV/MCWG) as per Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Section 3)
  • Minimum age: 21 years. Maximum age: 60 years
  • Aadhaar card (original) and valid driving licence must be uploaded at time of booking
  • A signed rental agreement (PDF) is mandatory before vehicle handover
  • Security deposit of ₹5,000 (refundable) is required at pickup
  • Fuel cost is borne by the renter. Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level
  • Vehicles must not be driven outside the permitted North East India zone without prior written approval
  • Traffic violations, fines, and penalties are the sole responsibility of the renter
  • Vehicles must not be sub-let, used for commercial purposes, or driven under the influence of alcohol/drugs (MV Act Section 185)
  • In case of accident, renter must immediately inform NorviaTours and local police (FIR mandatory)
  • Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from security deposit
  • Cancellation within 48 hours of pickup: 50% advance forfeited
  • NorviaTours reserves the right to repossess the vehicle in case of misuse
